Recently several members of the TBS web staff had an opportunity to shadow the award winning Braves on TBS announcer Pete Van Wieren.

Pete Van Wieren is in his 25th season as a play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Braves, tying him for seniority with Skip Caray.

On the following pages we follow Pete through a typical gameday at Turner Field. His workday begins long before the opening pitch. Many hours of research and preparation occur both before and after the game. Continued. . .
