He also directed the Superstation's time-travel thriller The TimeShifters, which starred Casper Van Dien, Catherine Bell, And Martin Sheen. Azzopardi specializes in science fiction and action, with such television pilots and movies to his credit as Total Recall: 2070, and Stargate SG-1. Some of Azzopardi's television credits include the movies or pilots for Counterstrike, Police File, Captain Power, and ENG. He has also directed episodes of other series such as The Outer Limits, Dead Man's Gun, FX, The Highlander, Sliders, M.A.N.T.I.S., Robocop, In the Heat of the Night, The Flash, Secret Service Wiseguy, and Night Heat, as well as the miniseries Divided Loyalties.
